It’s been a difficult few years but I have come through that and now realize that there something missing in my life - someone to share it with.

So why me, I am the first to admit that I am not the world’s best catch, but I reckon I’m in the top quartile! I believe in people, having fun, enjoying life and experiencing what I can. One of my friends said that I only needed to put down ‘he’s fun to be with’. I am loyal, caring and kind. I like a good time and can be boisterous, but also enjoy quiet times as well. I have always been adventurous, believing life is about experiences and making the most of opportunities that come my way. So in the past two years I have trekked to the base camp of K2 and competed in a round the world yacht race, having never sailed before. Traveling has always been important to me, but now I find that I miss not having any one to share it with.

On a more practical level, I am tidy and fully house trained - I can cook, clean, hover, iron and shop. Some would say that I have gone a bit over board - beds get changed on a Friday and the old stuff gets washed, dried and put away that evening. And I don’t have an ironing mountain - I need to get more meaning in my life!

I find this quite difficult as how do you define chemistry between two people. My ideal partner would be someone who has an independent streak and the confidence to take life on their terms. Someone who has the energy to enjoy life and have fun along the way. And then there is traveling in all its forms
